Bruce Vinik, founder of Vinik EPS, spent more than 20 years as a teacher and administrator at independent schools in the Washington, DC area. At Georgetown Day School, he was Director of College Counseling and Director of Admissions. He also served as both a middle school and high school principal in local private schools.
Mr. Vinik is an alumni interviewer for Duke University and has served on the Board of Directors of Westmoreland Children's Center in Bethesda, Maryland. In addition, he has spoken about education and adolescence at a number of organizations and schools in the Washington area.
Mr. Vinik holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from Duke University. He is a Certified Educational Planner and a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association, the National Association for College Admission Counseling, and the Potomac and Chesapeake Association for College Admission Counseling.
